This beauty sits on the grounds of the Santa Barbara Biltmore Hotel.
While visiting recently I took many photos. This painting is the first in a series to capture the serenity of the area. The sun was starting to set and the beach was alive with people, dogs chasing Frisbees, and fishermen. We stood in awe for a long time and just watched. On our way back to our hotel, this tree caught my eye and I knew I had to paint it.
