Earlier this summer while driving through the country, I came upon an abandoned farm. The classic farmhouse with a big front porch and lots of great outbuildings. A beautiful old place...as if the owners had just picked up and left one day and never returned. Nature was slowly taking over and the pasture and buildings were overrun with vines and all manner of plants. The buildings were breaking down and caving in and the plants on the ground were reaching for the sky with wild abandon. Somehow all that worked together to made it an even more lovely scene.
